Audi is introducing its diesel-powered flagship to the U.S., and it’s called the 2014 Audi A8L TDI. With new arrival of the 2014 Audi A8, the company also updated its luxury sedan with new interior and exterior design, technology, performance and efficiency. The new diesel-powered sedan is set to arrive this spring at U.S. dealership, and it will be priced from $82,500 (excluding a $895 destination charge).
The new 2014 Audi A8L TDI is a full-side sedan, which is powered by 3.0-liter TDI V6 engine producing 240 horsepower and a staggering 406 pound-feet of torque. And of course, it comes with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel system as standard. The diesel-power engine allows the 2014 Audi A8L TDI sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 6.4 seconds. While fuel economy is rated at 24 mpg city, 36 mph highway, and 28 mph combined.
There are a few options available for the 2014 Audi A8 L TDI diesel-powered sedan. The Premium Package now consists of Audi side assist and rear sensors, 22-way multi-contour comfort seats, font seat ventilation with massage and full LED headlights.
The 2014 Audi A8L TDI sedan will be available in the long-wheelbase version only, and it adds to the model line-up including the A8 3.0T, A8 4.0T, S8 4.0T and A8 W12.
