Chrysler has just officially unwrapped its 2014 Jeep Cherokee crossover. The company had been trying hard to keep its new crossover under the lid for quite a while, and now it busted out like a bat out of hell.
There were spy photos of the undisguised 2014 Jeep Cherokee crossover leaked on the Internet recently, but they were kind of blurry to tell if it is a crossover or something much bigger like a SUV that we’ve seen; so speculations were flying everywhere. Chrysler then had to come out confirming that it is the Cherokee model to replace the Liberty Jeep.
As you can see, the design of the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee crossover is a bit of modern and radical; it could one of that ‘love it or hate it’ design, but thankfully, it is not that polarizing. There is still the familiar seven-slot grille, but the new split-lens headlamps is something new that we need to get used to.
So far, Chrysler has not released details on the powertrain yet, but the company promises that the 2014 Jeep Cherokee crossover will be 45 percent more fuel efficient than the outgoing mid-size SUV model.
The new 2014 Jeep Cherokee crossover is set to debut at the New York International Auto Show in March, and will arrive in dealer showrooms in the third quarter of this year.
