This is the real deal, folks, no Photoshop around here. GM has just officially released images of the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible. The convertible sports car will roll out at the Geneva Motor Show next week, which GM plans to make it a global sports car. Last time we’ve heard that a lesser version of this sports car will be offered under $50,000.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible has come to reality, and for those who got the buckaroos, this is a real joy. So far, not much details on this convertible sports car. All we know that it is a two-seater with a soft-top. Likely that it will get the same powertrain as the coupe version.
As for now, we’ll have to wait when the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible makes its debut next week, so stay tuned.
GM has just released a few more photos of the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible for the Geneva Motor Show today. It gets the same Z51-package which includes a rear spoiler and the vented hood. In addition, the two-tone interior matches the color of the soft-top.
Power for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is confirmed to have the same powertrain options as the coupe, including the base 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 450-horses and 450 lb-ft, and mated to either a 7-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission.
