BMW Alpina B3 sedan based on BMW 3-Series upping for more power

The BMW Alpina sedans are known for their luxury and performance upgrades. The company has just released its version of the BMW F30 3-Series sedan called the BMW Alpina B3 at the Geneva Motor Show today.

If you know about the BMW Alpina sedans, you know that the 20-inch Alpina Classic wheels will be there. Besides the classic fin-wheels, the new BMW Alpina B3 sedan gets revised front and rear spoilers to set it apart from the standard models. In addition, there are a variety of exterior and interior colors to choose from, but the company’s trademark blue color still remains the same.

The new BMW Alpina B3 sedan is equipped with a revised twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine producing about 404 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This setup allows the sporty sedan to accelerate from 0-62 mph in about 4.2 seconds, and achieving top speed at 189 mph. Of course, if you want to keep the nimbleness in the Alpina B3, you can always opt for the xDrive all-wheel drive system.

As for right now, you will have to decide for either the new BMW Alpina B3 sedan or the BMW M3. You can go wrong with either one, depends if you have a taste for modern or classic.
