Land Rover has just released a video teaser of its new 2014 Range Rover Sport crossover, and now images of it have leaked on over at the VMax 200 Facebook page. From what we can tell, that is the new Range Rover sitting at a garage, probably for a tune-up before its debut at the New York Auto Show.
From the looks, the new 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SUV isn’t much of it anymore, more like a crossover, which in this case got its design cues from the smaller Evogue crossover. And these transferred design cues are the rocker panel flares and the fender vent above the front wheels. But unlike the three-door Evogue, the new 2014 Range Rover Sport SUV is a five-door version and with a much more expensive price tag.
So far, no details of the 2014 Range Rover Sport SUV have been released yet, but according to the company, it will be the “fastest, most responsive and most agile vehicle to date.” Guess we will have to wait till March 26 for its debut.
The new 2014 Range Rover Sport SUV has come online at a starting price of $63,495 (including $895 destination) for the 2014 Range Rover Sport version. It features an optional seven-passenger seating configuration (5+2) at a price of $2,750, new safety and driving technology and a new Extra Duty Package for off-roader ($1,300).
There are more options available, which include $2,000 for rear seat entertainment, $1,950 for Meridian Premium Audio and $2,100 for the Climate Comfort and Visibility Package, which has heated front and rear seats, heated windshield, adaptive headlights and a 16-way power driver’s seat.
