The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan is already available in the UK, and now the company has just released the Mercedes CLA A45 AMG sports sedan before the its debut at the New York Auto Show next week. No longer is the company relying on its powerful V8 engines to do the pushing, this time around is a four-cylinder engine in the spotlight.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA A45 AMG sports sedan will hit the U.S. by the end of this year, and it will carry a price tag between $50,000 to $60,000. According to Mercedes-Benz, the all-new CLA A45 AMG sports sedan will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing about 355 horsepower, and mated to a dual clutch transmission with an all-wheel drive system.
Like all AMG models, the CLA A45 AMG sports sedan gets an aero package along with a larger set of alloy wheels, sportier interior, and a sports tuned suspension system.
Mercedes-Benz AMG has just debuted its new 2014 model year CLA45 AMG at the New York International Auto Show. The four-door coupe is an addition to Mercedes-Benz’s the four-door high-performance coupe lineup. Engine specs have been confirmed to the same as mentioned above. The new coupe is equipped with the performance AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The 2014 CLA45 AMG goes on sale in the U.S. this November.
According to Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, “In the CLA45 AMG, Mercedes-AMG presents a unique and absolutely desirable automobile with the characteristic AMG genes. The high-tech package with the world’s most powerful four-cylinder production engine and performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive stands for ‘Driving Performance’ at its best.” We’ll have to see to believe it, so stay tuned for more testing scenes.
