2014 GMC and Chevy mid-size trucks are more fuel efficient and stylish

Late last year, GM introduced its new full-size trucks, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, and now the company plans for two new mid-size pickup trucks for 2014. The new pickup trucks are said to be more powerful yet fuel efficient, where towing capacity and performance near the range (95 percent) of it larger brethren, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.

Instead of just work horses like the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, these mid-size trucks are designed for both play and work. With stylish designs and considerable more fuel efficient than the full-size versions, GM considers these trucks to be a “lifestyle and sport truck,” according to Mark Reuss.

As for now, there are no names for these mid-size trucks yet. “We’re researching the names as we do any new products to see where the legacy names are, do they mean something to people,” said Reuss. What we will see in 2014 is that these trucks will be marketed differently from its larger brethren. Mark Reuss also stated that there are 29 new or improved models set to launch from now till 2014.

If you like these mid-size trucks, expect them to be revealed this fall and available in the beginning of 2014. At that time, we will definite know for sure what they are called.
