Almost all the big car manufacturers have a luxury sport wagon. Cadillac, BMW, Audi, VW, and etc… all have one, and why they all have one? It seems car manufacturers are feeling the trend from the SUV transition to crossover or wagon style, and which ever works will take the reign of the sports utility vehicles. Well, Acura is not about to miss out this bandwagon. Introducing the all-new 2011 TSX Sport Wagon, Acura latest transition into the wagon car market.
Acura Honda will unveil the 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon at the New York Auto Show in March 31st, 2010. In Europe the TSX Wagon is badged under Honda Accord Tourer. The new 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon will have both the 201 horsepower 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine and the 280 horsepower V6 available with an automatic transmission (maybe with the new 6-speed.)
The 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon has cargo volume the same size as the Accord Crosstour. The choice is up to you; crossover or wagon. I can’t believe the day I would see the words “sport” and “wagon” together. Maybe it is just me that the wagon car had left an embarrassing image in my teen years when I was riding around in my friend’s beat up wagon car (handed down from his mom), where the girls always laughed at us.
Stay tune for updates on the 2011 TSX Sport Wagon, more to be revealed by March 31st, 2010 at the New York International Auto Show.
