Top speed of the McLaren LP4-12C is at around 200 mph, and with expected quarter mile in approximately 11 seconds.
Worth mentioning, the 1997 McLaren F1 can sprint from 0 – 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and a quarter mile time in 11.5 seconds. Top speed of the McLaren F1 is shattering at 240 mph.
The McLaren MP4-12C supercar weighs in at about 2,870 pounds, and that is about 530 pounds heavier than its brethren the McLaren F1. Still, it’s pale in comparison to the Bugatti Veyron at 4,162 pounds. The unique light-weight of the McLaren MP4-12C is due to the use of the carbon-fiber monocoque frame and a smaller V8 engine.
