2011 Audi Q7 comes with new 8-speed triptronic

Audi unleashed its new 2011 Audi Q7 with a new supercharged V6 engine and an 8-speed triptronic. There will be three engine versions available for the 2011 Audi Q7, depends on your speed taste. The new Audi Q7 will be much faster and fuel efficient from its predecessors, especially, the new 240-hp 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine allows the 2011 Audi Q7 to put out an impressive fuel economy of 32 miles per gallon with 406 lb-ft of torque realizes at 1,750 to 2,500 low rpm.

Audi will offer the Q7 with two gasoline engine versions of the 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 engine. The first supercharged engine puts out 272-hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, while the second supercharged engine puts out about 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Although we don’t really care about SUV performance numbers but if you are interested, here they are:

-240-hp diesel engine sprints the 2011 Audi Q7 from 0 -60 mph in 7.9 seconds.

-272-hp 3.0-liter engine sprints the 2011 Audi Q7 from 0 – 60 mph in 7.9 seconds.

-3.0-liter supercharged V6 sprints the 2011 Audi Q7 from 0 – 60 mph in 6.9 seconds.

In the interior space, the 2011 Auid Q7 can hold up to seven passengers. The rear seats can be fold down to give for cargo space. It also has comfortable single rear seats and a third row of seats at the back to accommodate passengers who are below five feet tall.

The starting price of the 2011 Audi Q7 is expected to be similar to the current 2010 model, around $47,000 to about $62,000 for its top model. By the way, these are European specs for the 2011 Q7, which will be similar to the U.S. specs that will be released later in a month or so.
