Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce in Beijing

What’s in a name, Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce? This got to be the longest name ever by Lamborghini. Have they got too much names available so they put a bunch together? Whatever, we’ll just call it short here as Murcielago LP670-4. The Murceilago LP670-4 is an all-wheel drive supercar with 670 ponies to dispense at all four wheels, and it will be a limited edition model.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show yesterday with yellow and black painted stripes in the middle to represent its racer style. If you buy one of these, it will come with a numbered badge under your very own name.

The Lamborghini MurciĆ©lago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is light and powerful with power output of 670 hp from the 6.5 liter V12. A weight reduction of 220 lbs gives the MurciĆ©lago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce a power-to-weight ratio of 5.1 lbs per horsepower. This translates to sprint time from 0 – 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds with top speed of 212 miles/hour, and that is crazy fast. And that may be too fast for the Chinese rough roads.

It will be launching at its eighth Chinese dealership this week. In a country where farming is still done by oxes, a car like this is really too much for the taking. Lambo is ready for China, but does China ready for Lambo?
