Aston Martin V12 Vantage will soon arrive at the U.S. shoreline. However, there are some subtle changes necessary need to made to meet U.S. safety and emission regulations. Also, there will be a new Carbon Black version of the V12 Vantage just for the U.S. market.
The U.S. Aston Martin V12 Vantage will be powered by the 6.0-liter V12 engine, which produces 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Its top speed reaches up 190 mph with a sprint time from 0-62 mph in just 4.2 seconds. That is just awful for a V12 engine, still can’t beat Corvette ZR-1 with sprint time from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. But hey, the Aston Martin is not just about speed, it is elegant and a well tuned sports car. Aston Martin claims that the V12 Vantage will not only be powerful but also agile.
Included in the new Carbon Black version is the carbon fiber side skirts, gloss black 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels and a polished grille in the air front.
Within the interior, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage comes with Obsidian Black leather with highlighted silver color stitching and a 700 watt Premium Audio System will be standard equipment.
Well, if you got $250,000 to spare, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage is ready for ordering right now. Delivery is expected by this fall of 2010.
