Since its debut at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show in April, BMW now released its first official photos of the BMW M3 Coupe finished in the new Frozen Black Metallic color theme that comes with Competition Package. And there is also the Monte Carlo Blue available if one do not wish for the matte black metallic color.
The 2011 BMW M3 Coupe equipped with the optional Competition Package and a set of carbon fiber front splitters and boot spoiler. The Competition Package also includes a 10mm lower suspension, 19-inch wheels with greater offset for a wider track, and reprogrammed Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems.
Both the BMW M3 Coupe and Sedan will have an option of the Competition Package for $2,500 more.
The new 2011 BMW M3 will be powered by the high-revving 4.0-liter V-8 from the current model that puts out about 420 horsepower. With such a gas guzzling engine, hopefully, BMW will add the fuel-saving engine “Stop-Start” system.
Expect the new 2011 BMW M3 to arrive at dealership by this fall. On a related note, there was already a facelift for the 2013 BMW 3 Series scheduled when it comes out in 2012.
