Even with the steep price of the Lexus LF-A at $375,000, demand is still very high for this Japanese supercar. There were about 500 units ordered worldwide with one third of the orders were placed from Germany, which made the Lexus LF-A none left available. Lexus only built 500 units of the Lexus LF-A, that may need to change down the road due to its high demand.
The Lexus LF-A sports car is powered by a a 4.8-liter V10 engine that produces about 553 hp at 8,700 rpm and 354 lb-ft of peak torque at 6,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a unique six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG) with paddle shifters. The car weighs 3263 pounds.
The Lexus LF-A can sprint from 0 – 62 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. It has the power-to-weight ratio of 5.9 pounds per horsepower compared to the Corvette ZR1’s ratio, which is at 5.3.
