I applaud for Ford to make the decision to bring the Fiesta to the States. The Ford Escape is a great SUV but it doesn't put out the kind of mpg as the Fiesta (~39 mpg). And for the Ford Fusion, the hybrid version was just only introduced this year. The Ford Fiesta was "thought" to be here in the States about two years ago. That is why I used the word "finally". What I am trying to say is that Toyota has the Prius, Honda has the Insight, ...and so on, but these cars are expensive (average $25,000). Hopefully, the Ford Fiesta will be affordable to own.
