Seems like Mazda likes the Brit a bit too much and gave them all the fun cars and upgrades, which makes us North American folks a bit envy. First the Mazda Miata MX-5 special edition, and now the Mazda Takuya special editions for the Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 models. The Takuya special editions have both cosmetic changes to make them look good, and as well as equipment upgrades to make them faster and more responsive.
In the Mazda2 Takuya, it comes with a 86-hp 1.3-liter gasoline engine, 16-inch alloy wheels, a sports styling kit with spoiler, sports bumpers and side skirts, and front fog lights to give it an agile look.
The Mazda3 Takuya gets a 105-hp 1.6L gasoline engine. It comes with a leather steering wheel and shift knob, automatic dual-zone climate control air conditioning, black sports interior trim, sports seats, an integrated Bluetooth system, LED lights, a six-disc CD changer and rain-sensing wipers.
The Mazda6 Takuya comes with three different engine options: the 2.0-litre five-door sedan, the 2.2D 163ps five-door, and 2.2D 163ps Estate.
All three Tayuku special edition models come with the ground effect package: spoilers, side skirts, front grill, optional 18-inch wheels, and alloy pedal set. Zoom zoom zoom, that is how Mazda wants its image to be.
