Was this intention to stir up the hype by Mercedes-Benz? Photos of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS were leaked before its official debut. Don’t know how, but the guys at eMercedesBenz got a hold of these leaked images. The images show the all-new four-door Mercedes-Benz CLS in production form.
From the photos, as we have expected, the new 2011 CLS got a lot of its design cues from the Shooting Brake Concept model. As you can see the prominent grille with an aggressive front bumper, daytime LED running lights and a long bonnet. As for the interior of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS, it has four-seat arrangement with a center console that extends all the way back to the rear seats.
We’re not sure of the details of the engine offering for the 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS, but eMercedesBenz has the insider story. It reports that a new 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 with an output of 306 PS and 272 lb-ft of torque will be offered, as well as the 550 CGI twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 that delivers 430 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. But there is also an AMG version, which is the all-new 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that has an output of 570 bhp and 633 lb-ft of torque would be offered as well with an optional Performance Pack.
Until the official images of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS arrive (which we think will be very soon, usually after a leak), enjoy the photos below. Stay tuned for more details.
