The Porshe Boxster Spyder showed up at the L.A. Auto Show a few weeks ago is to be the lightest model throughout the entire range of Porshe cars; it weights about 2,811 lb. This Porshe Boxster is not anything like its predecessors. It is more well tuned with an elegant styling of a truly sports car. The Porshe Boxster Spyder has been developed for the driving open air experience with its low-slung, light soft top extending far to the rear to protect the driver and passenger from bright sunlight. The Porshe Boxster Spyder will be available in February 2010 as the third version of the Boxster.
The Boxster Spyder equipped with a 3.4-Liter six-cylinder, which produces about 320 horsepower, and a 0-60 is achieved in 4.8 seconds. Top speed is at 166 mph with the roof open. As for the buying car guide, the Boxster Spyder is not cheap; its base model is about $78,806. Either that you can choose a regular Porsche Boxster for around $50,000. At any rates, the prices for these Porshe Boxster’s are hard to swallow when you compared to a formidable car like the Nissan 370ZX ($37,000).
