Just last week, Ford Racing unleashed its supercharger kits for the new 2011 Mustang 5.0. The supercharger kits from Ford Racing come in two stages: 525 hp and 624 hp with prices at $7,199 and $7,499, respectively.
But Roush just came up with an even better supercharger kit for the 2011 Mustang 5.0. The Roush’s supercharger kit not only is cheaper but also produces more horsepower. Roush’s TVS2300 ROUSHcharger kit churns out 550 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, and with a price tag of $5,999.
The 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit generates an about seven pounds of boost. The kit comes with 47 lb. fuel injectors, high-flow fuel rails, a high-flow ROUSH air lid, a twin 60mm throttle body, heavy-duty ROUSH tensioner, and a 90mm pulley.
“While the new Ford five-liter engine offers amazing performance right from the factory, and the new ROUSHcharger will kick it up a level,” said Jack Roush, motorsports legend and chairman of ROUSH Enterprises. “Our engineering team has worked hard to deliver a product that will satisfy the demands of the ROUSH customer on an extremely tight deadline, and they have come up with another great solution for a powertrain upgrade.”
So, you are thinking…Don’t think. Get the 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit. And you are still thinking….will it fit on my V6 Mustang with a few modifications???? Well, go for it and tell us about it later.
