The new BMW 6 Series Coupe has been lurking in dark for the past month, today, BMW finally shined the light on the dark images of the new 2012 BMW 6 Series. But this new BMW 6 Series model is just a concept design, and BMW called it the “BMW Concept 6 Series Coupe”. Whatever it is called, this new BMW 6 Series will be pretty much the similar to the production model as we have seen in the past with BMW’s concepts. The new 2012 BMW 6-Series Coupe Concept will make its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show on September 30, 2010.

The new 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe is sleeker and more elegant to resemble the luxury style instead of aggressive and sportiness look from previous model. One interesting aspect of the new 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe is the driver orientated cockpit with an asymmetric design and a center console tilted towards the pilot.

So far no technical details of the new 2012 BMW Series Coupe yet, which BMW is holding that information until its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show. All we can tell you now from speculation and photos is that it is a 2+2 coupe and rear-wheel drive car. And the powertrain will be based on a straight-six gasoline and diesel engines. In addition, there may be a new twin-turbocharged V8 engine with the 600-horsepower will follow in 2012. As for transmission, there will be either a manual or 8-speed automatic transmission.

Expect production version of the new 2012 BMW 6 Series by next year. BMW is planning to have both coupe and convertible versions available for the market just as previous generation.
