Royal guards, out of the way! Toyota is storming the United Kingdom of Queen Elizabeth with its new 2011 Toyota iQ. The new updated version of the Toyota iQ mini is now equipped with a new engine lineup to meet stricter Euro 5 emissions standards.
The 2011 Toyota iQ is now equipped with two revised 1.0-liter VVT-i and 1.33-liter Dual VVT-i gasoline engines, which have been revised to meet Euro 5 emissions standards. According to Toyota, not only the revised engines does not affect the performance and efficiency of the iQ. With that, the 1.0-liter engine produces 99g/km CO2 emissions and 64.2 mpg on the UK rated combined cycle. And the 1.33-liter with Stop & Start produces about 113g/km CO2 emissions and 57.6 mpg UK combined cycle.
As for the new interior upgrades for the 2011 Toyota iQ include, a new gray interior with contrasting black trims all around with two-tone fabric upholstery. An optionally Kuru black leather upholstery is also available with cloth upholstery is not your style. In addition to the upholstery upgrade, the Toyota iQ gets new soft-touch materials, noticeably, on both the dashboard and door panels.
