100 miles range for 8 hours of charging.. what a joke!!! completely useless car!!!

  • novola1972

Its still better then sending our boys and girls to fight and die for american oil corporate interests , you fucking faggot cocksucker

  • salemcripple

@EdmundSquid good idea, except who would want to actually have to remove a heavy part of their vehicle every time they want to fuel up. Easy access or not, they still weigh a fair some.

  • salemcripple

@novola1972 Go 300 miles on one charge, with all the accessories (a.c. or heat, radio, wipers, lights, etc) running, AND only take a few minutes to “refuel” so you can go another 300 miles. As well as costing 20 grand. Then and only then will they be a gasoline powered car’s equal in the area of mobility and efficiency. And even then it will only ever be a week day get around town car to me, nothing more.

Hey…POWERED by the burning of Coal & Fossil Fuels at your local POWER PLANT…did you think those electron’s came from the back pocket’s of Leprechaun’s, you dumb bastards?

The big thing that needs to happen with electric cars is battery regulation. All batteries should be the same size and in relatively the same position on the car, they also need to be accessible and easily removable so that you can have “Battery Changing Stations” instead of “Gas Stations” The idea is to get the auto maker out of t he business of making “FUEL” or batteries and just have them make the cars.

the funny thing is that its got the 300zx NA wheels(Z32)

I wish Nissan make a version of Leaf without those complicated and pricy features such as wirelessly connecting to its data center, navigation and IPhone control, etc.

I could give a shit about the emmisions – I believe oil will be $800 bbl in 5 years.

    OMG FINALY GOOD MOVE NISSAN

  • novola1972

and all of that to save $150 per month on gas , assuming the alternative could be some nice Mazda 3 or other small car with good gas milage ? I like the idea of electric cars , they one day will be great , but sorry , give me a car which could go 300 miles on one charge , and cost 20 grand , then it will be a winner.

  • novola1972

the car is going to cost 30 grand , so you are saying I will never be able to go to San Diego , San Fran , Las Vegas in this car , assuming I live in LA ? Or should I spend 15 hours to drive 400 miles , because I would have to stop and recharge the car 5 times ?

  • MrEnergyCzar

I’m concerned that if they lease the battery it kind of says that they aren’t too confident about it…I wonder how they cool the battery? air?

  • 063209dr

@blackrowstones Like a petrol engine? And when the batteries become worn out, one can just run it on the petrol engine! But because you’ll still be carting the heavy batteries about, it’ll doubtless cost you more in petrol. You know, like a secondhand Prius with worn out batteries that the vowner finds too expensive to replace.
