I like the car and my family just got 1 about 3 days ago and its a real good family suv for an electric truck and thats what i dnt like about americans is that in a car all ur looking for is how much horse power a car has and dnt care about the harm ur doing to the environment and if ur going to buy a car with good looks and good horse power and has a 31 mpg u should buy the 2010 mustang my cuzin has 1 and he says the thing runs beautifully and preety quick for its 300 hp

To be serious. Answer this question. Do really drive less than 60 mile a day?. Do you really maintain average 70 mile per hour all the time on the highway?and never do a quick sudden acceleration?

  • SageRai

Or even the idea of hydrogen , someone is going to create a big oil nock off company, and that is going to cost like oil to fill up. Except all car going to suck like hell. If there going to make cars that Nissan leaf so gays in the future. I would rather drive a gasoline hybrids or my favorite desiel until I die. If the so the future is going to be really gays and bright boring like star trek. If I offend gays no offense.

So this car is suppose to represent the future, well from what I could see I am going to hate it. Low power eletric car or high power eletric car with crappy distant drive, and that cost an arm and leg(it takes alot of resource and money to make battery for mass production).

I’ve ask for info to purchase this car for my wife and the only thing I don’t like is you have to buy a charging station for $2,200.00 wich isnot included with the price ridiculous, what if you for a 60 miles trip and nobody has a charging station, there is enough technology for the car to have a charger for it’s own so you don’t have to find one.

  • espinosaj

Leaf could use solar panels on the roof and hood if it could add to the leaf’sdriving range.

  • marco6981

@LIGHTRONIX got $100,000 to spare for that?

  • madkramer

Really? So Nissan wants people to spend 42 grand to drive to work (if work’s withing a few miles) or the the store? You couldn’t go more than 50 miles from home. 50 would be pushing it depending on how you drive. Then 8 hours to charge it? Umm, I think Nissan should rethink this car. I can’t see charging stations throughout the country. This car is comparable to a scooter, just a whole lot more.

@GabKoost you can use a pebble bed reactor…. safe clean energy

  • azzipog

@Nomasain ya but then you go little bombs that people drive down roads going 60 mph

  • treyjohn18

    @GabKoost free energy

  • treyjohn18

This technology still beats around the bush. we should have free energy, Nikola tesla gave us that, zero point energy, though this is a step for the people who dont know what we have, its still slowing us down

  • bmwnasher

26 million cars on british road say 20 million of these all charging in the winter from oil and gas fired power stations non starter …o… emissions dont think so

  • LEANDROANDINA
