    I wonder why they didn’t incorporate solar paneling to at least operate the air conditioning. I mean, with advanced paneling, the car could recharge while driving, or at least slow the de-charging, extending the range.

    @sanphaka04

    How is the range a problem? In a worst-case scenario, it goes for 60 miles (this is assuming a speed of 80-90 MPH). In the best-case scenario, it goes for 140 miles.

    On average it will be around 90-100 miles which is more than what 95% of us drive in a day.

    @paper000000

    No. A charge with a normal household 3-plug outlet is 20 hours. With the personal home charging dock (which costs $1,100 including installation after a 50% federal tax credit), it goes down to 8 hours.

  • deadmantyping2

    @jimtuyo approximately 2 dollars per full charge.

  • deadmantyping2

    Nissan just announced it it offering a 8 year 100,000 mile warranty on the battery pack.

  • jimtuyo

    how much will the electric bill be

  • paper000000

    a “quick” charge takes 30 minutes?

    a home charge in the US is 16 hours?

    @SageRai
    Yes. Yes. And yes.

  • CoolCookieFun

    I want that car!!!

  • sanphaka04

    @SageRai This is the future. One problem with electric cars is that the performance is spectacular. They will outrun any other car. The range is a problem. In the future, we will need to limit our driving. Sorry.

  • davepamn

    Does a leaf have a top speed of 90 mph? Does a leaf have a commuting range of 100 miles will travel at 65 mph?

  • cyborg527

    i’d stick with a tesla or an aptera, this thing looks like a toy

  • logansGT

    I watched the whole vid of this butt-ugly car, hoping that I’d get a better view of the good-lookin’ chick.
    If Nissan wants to sell electric cars, why don’t they make something pleasing to the eyes instead of something people will point at, (for the wrong reason?)

  • sario22152

    maybe we can make one and drive it. thats the best way to off from the ugly electric cars

  • jonnyaussie

    why do the main car manufacturers have to make ugly electric cars…can’t they just make the same cool looking cars but electric?…of course they can.
