2011 Porshe 911 GT2 RS sold out its limited 500 units

Porsche was able to acquire customer promises for all 500 units of its limited production 911 GT2 RS in less than 8 weeks following its world premiere at the Moscow Auto Show back in August. The Porshe 911 GT2 RS will be delivered to their respective owners by February 2011.

The 2011 Porshe 911 GT RS is powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that is enhanced by two turbochargers with variable turbine layout. The turbocharged engine is producing 620 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power is shifted through a six-speed manual transmission. This power enables the Porsche 911 GT RS to propel from 0-62 mph in just 3.5 seconds with top speed of 205 mph.

Porshe claims that the 2011 Porshe 911 GT2 RS is definitely the fastest and most potent production Porsche car ever built for the Nürburgring race track, which the Porshe ran in just 7 minutes and 18 seconds.
