Just as promised in the Audi Q7 lineup, Audi recently introduced its newly diesel variant of the Audi Q7 to the European market. The 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel produces 204 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of peak torque, and that’s ample power to drive the large 2011 Audi Q7 SUV.
Much like most of Q7 models, the 3.0-liter TDI engine is equipped with a standard start-stop technology that deactivates the motor when the vehicle gets to a stop, and an electricity recovery system that stores electricity during deceleration. An eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive complete the drivetrain system. The diesel-powered 2011 Audi Q7 SUV can sprint from 0-62 mph in about 9.1 seconds. In addition, the 2011 Audi Q7 comes with standard suspension and an optional air suspension system.
As for the interior, the 2011 Auid Q7 ables to hold seven passengers. The rear seats can be fold down to give for cargo space. It also has comfortable single rear seats and a third row of seats at the back to accommodate passengers who are below five feet tall.
The 2011 Audi Q7 SUV with 3.0-liter TDI is estimated fuel consumption of 7.2 liters per 100 km (32.7 mpg U.S.), and it will be first available in Germany for about $71,800 U.S or 51,800 German marks.
