Recall of 26,000 Chrysler and Dodge vehicles due possibility of fire

Chrysler announced of the recall for the affected 26,397 owners of Chrysler and Dodge vehicles in the U.S due to a power steering pressure hose may leak fluid onto a hot engine and cause a fire. 

The recall involves specific 2010 Chrysler 300 and Sebring, Dodge Charger, Avenger, Challenger and Journey, and as well as some 2011 Ram pickup trucks. Customers of affected vehicles can bring their cars into the dealers, which will inspect and replace if necessary the power steering pressure hoses without charge. The safety recall is anticipated to start prior to the end of the October 2010.
