Hennessey unleashes Supercharged HPE600 Camaro with 602 hp

Hennessey has a bunch of powerful Chevrolet Camaro cars, including a twin turbo that dishes out 1,000 horsepower. But you don’t really need that much power for everyday driving with occasionally spirited driving, so Hennessey Performance released a lesser potent Supercharged HPE600 Camaro.

Hennessey Supercharged HPE600 Camaro is based on an LS3 engine with a TVS2300 Supercharger System. To accommodate the new supercharged system, Hennessey also added a new air induction system, high-flow injectors, re-calibrated engine management system, stainless steel exhaust system, and high-flow catalytic converters. This helps raise power output to about 602 horsepower and 595 lb-ft of torque.

Hennessey Performance boasts that the Supercharged HPE600 Camaro is able to sprint from 0-60mph in about the 3.5 seconds with a quarter mile of 11 seconds.

Not only the Supercharged HPE600 Camaro can go fast, it looks good as well. Hennessey also included an aerodynamic kit that comes with a rear lip spoiler, front splitter and side skirts. Also, exterior graphic stipes with identification of  ‘Hennessey S/C’ on the rear quarter panel and hood to round out the looks. Customers can further enhance the Supercharged HPE600 Camaro’s appearance by adding HPE wheels, Peddler’s coil-over suspension and Brembro Brakes as an optional package.
