Despite the economic gloom in the auto sales industry, GM managed to do well in China since its joint ventures.  With the new engine and transmission technology that offers great fuel economy to satisfy the Chinese’s hunger for fuel, the Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Lova, Buick LaCrosse and Buick Regal managed to sell well in China with over 1.5 million units sold. For the first 10 months of 2009, GM’s domestic sales in China totaled 1,459,460 units. This was a rise of 59.8 percent from the first 10 months of 2008 and a new record for the period.

The Porshe Boxster Spyder showed up at the L.A. Auto Show a few weeks ago is to be the lightest model throughout the entire range of Porshe cars;  it weights about 2,811 lb.  This Porshe Boxster is not anything like its predecessors.  It is more well tuned with an elegant styling of a truly sports car.  The Porshe Boxster Spyder has been developed for the driving open air experience with its low-slung, light soft top extending far to the rear to protect the driver and passenger from bright sunlight.  The Porshe Boxster Spyder will be available in February 2010 as the third version of the Boxster.    Read the rest of this entry »

Audi is teaming up with various labs from computer hardware to dynamics control.  It plans to conquer  Pikes Peak of California and claims as king of the mountain.  You may know that Pikes Peak is the ultimate challenge to test the skills of not only the race driver but also the car.  Every twist and turn of Pikes Peak requires undivided attention; one false move you could end down the ravine.  Many tried but few succeeded the ultimate goal, because you need a car that is one with the road and the driver (not on this car).

Open recently open a new car dealership in South Downtown of Seattle.  The massive 300,000 square-foot car dealership is a state-of-the-art facility to showcase BMW’s design of its vehicles.  This new facility replaces the previous 50,000 square-foot car dealership.  With such a massive expansion, there ought to be a job for you somewhere in there.  So if you need a job and you’re in Seattle, head down for an application.

Toyota 2010 model 4Runner SUV vehicle will enter the SCORE Baja 1000 Race, which has a length of 672 miles and a time limit of 31 hours long race.  The Baja 1000 is one of the toughest desert races in the world in which not only test machine’s ability but also man’s as well.   The Baja 1000 is a single loop race, which starts in Ensenada and finishes in Ensenada of the Pacific Ocean side.
