Suzuki unveiled its sports edition of the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport at the 2010 New York Auto Show. Finally, Suzuki designed something that is attractive since the Suzuki Sidekick in the early 90′s; well, sort of. Suzuki’s new ‘Sport’ variant is scheduled to go on sale in the United States this August. Pricing for the all-new 2011 Kizashi Sport will be announced when it is about to hit the dealer showrooms.

Hyundai today unveiled its 2011 Sonata with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, at the New York Auto Show. The 2011 non-turbo Sonata sedan was first introduced at the L.A. Auto Show in December 2009. Instead of getting bigger engines, this year’s theme is “lean and mean machines.” With that, Hyundai new 2011 Sonata turbocharged inline 4-banger engine puts out about 274 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque from 1,800 to 4,500 rmp range.

The 2011 Sonata Hybrid is changing the game in hybrids with its unique approaches in hybrid powertrain design, battery technology and vehicle appearance. The Sonata Hybrid is Hyundai’s first hybrid in the U.S. market.

In an effort to cut down costs and reduce the overwhelmingly brands from General Motors, GM plans to offer only the Buick Regal GS trim in the 2012 model. Other trims such as the CX, CXS and CXL will be cut out of existence. Only the GS trim will be left to indicate its high performance model. So, what you left with are the standard Buick Regal and Buick Regal GS.
