The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco has surpassed the 40-mpg targetted mark. General Motors announced that the Cruze Eco is officially US EPA rated at 28 mpg city and 42 mpg highway when tested with a six-speed manual transmission.

Audi is introducing a new and more fuel efficient A4 2.0-liter station wagon to Europe and North America, and it is called the A4 Avant Wagon.  The 2011 Audi A4 Avant Wagon is based on the new A4 sedan, but the Avant model is a bit larger due to its station wagon platform.
