Side Blind Zone Alert system in Buick LaCrosse
The Side Blind Zone Alert system will be available in the the new Buick LaCrosse to help drivers avoid those lane change mishaps that could result in an accident. What it is if the Side Blind Zone Alert system detects a vehicle in the adjacent lane, the system will illuminate a symbol on the side view mirror alerting the driver. If the driver activates the turn signal in the direction of the detected vehicle, the symbol will flash continuously to alert the driver of danger until the other vehicle has left the blind zone. GM’s Sales reached 1.5 Million Units Sold in China Today
Despite the economic gloom in the auto sales industry, GM managed to do well in China since its joint ventures. With the new engine and transmission technology that offers great fuel economy to satisfy the Chinese’s hunger for fuel, the Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Lova, Buick LaCrosse and Buick Regal managed to sell well in China with over 1.5 million units sold. For the first 10 months of 2009, GM’s domestic sales in China totaled 1,459,460 units. This was a rise of 59.8 percent from the first 10 months of 2008 and a new record for the period.
