General Motors got a couple of electric cars overseas, and the company believes that the time is ripe to sell those electric cars in the U.S. market. According to the Detroit News, the General will announce this plan by today.

General Motors is adding a little sportiness to its Chevrolet green cars. It has created the Chevrolet Z-Spec line to include the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, Volt, and Spark, which are all received modifications throughout.

The Chevrolet Volt is very soon to come to select Chevrolet dealerships, and GM just put up its official online vehicle configurator for customers to play with. The online configurator will let you build the Chevrolet Volt to your own taste with a final price tag as well.

Capstone Turbine unleashes the beasty CMT-380 prototype with a jet engine. It combines the former with a diesel / biodiesel-powered microturbine (a jet engine) with an electric motor. The 380 is an extraordinary supercar with design work from Electronic Arts’ creative director Richard Hilleman. The 380 reaches 60 miles an hour in 3.9 seconds (faster than a Porsche 911 Turbo). and travels 80 miles from a full charge before the turbine starts generating power.
