BMW has been expanding its hybrid car portfolio, and the company recently unveiled a new ActiveHybrid 5 model to help with the balancing of performance and fuel economy. The new ActiveHybrid 5 car is based on the BMW 535i Series.

The Toyota Venza is specifically developed for the U.S. market, and for 2012, Toyota is expanding the Venza crossover to three trims. The new crossover will be available as LE, XLE and Limited grades, which are aligned with other Toyota passenger vehicles.

Numerous reports from a few days ago state that Nissan is letting Mitsubishi shares the architecture of the Fuga sedan for its future sedans. Today, both companies have confirmed such plans.
