Finally a deal has struck between General Motors and China’s Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery. The agreement for GM to offload Hummer onto the Chinese company. The deal reached with Tengzhong taking an 80 percent stake and a private investor consuming the rest. GM will make about $150 million through this deal. The deal has to be approved by both the U.S. and Chinese governments by the beginning of 2010. Good written Hummer! America really doesn’t need another SUV or truck or whatever you call it. Currently GM is run by Uncle Sam, and Uncle same is going green.
